Wow, it's been a while. Since Shup v0.23 came out on March 30, 2008, Josh and I have been busy with other things. Josh was, of course, working on CryptoMail, the most secure, awesome email service/client ever to come out of Moraga, CA. And I (Dan) have been working on camelcamelcamel.com, my Amazon price tracker project.
Anyway, both of those projects are going well but that is not why I am writing this today! Shup v0.24 is out, dude[s|ettes]. It features a vast array of small changes that will make your Shupping a bit easier, like more ways to crop your images and autocropping support for the PalmOS Emulator. In addition, Shup will now hide itself when you capture your desktop (using capture desktop menu items; hotkey-initiated capture remains the same), so no more pushing Shup out of the way when you want to capture your entire desktop.

PS - I am flying to NYC this weekend and am hoping to code Shup v0.25 on the plane. Wish me luck!

Ignite is our collaboration network. Think of it like multiplayer Shup; one person creates an image, the rest join the session, and everyone paints into the same image.
Feature overview:
- Multiplayer Shup - paint with your friends, amuse your enemies!
- Create/join multiple sessions - Need more than one session? No problem.
- Chat - something everyone needs to do more.
- Nearly deterministic - there is between a zero and 100% chance that your image will look the same as everyone else's.
- Fancy idle timeout - get disconnected and your session will remain open for about five minutes, in case you want to rejoin.
- 'Loast it - upload as often as you like; save the memories.
